Midsummer Wedding In Finland
Are you planning on having a midsummer wedding in Finland? Draw inspiration from this beautiful real life wedding held at Villa Haikko, a beautiful seaside villa located at Haikko Manor, Porvoo.
It was a day filled with both sunshine and rain. While the sun was shining when these two had their ceremony at Helsinki Cathedral, morning was rainy and it rained a bit throughout their reception too. The rain affected our planned portrait time before the ceremony, but we were still able to take beautiful indoor portraits and the beautiful fog we got for our late night portrait time was definitely a blessing.
One thing that becomes clearer and clearer every year is that it’s always about the people. Whether you get married in an alley, on a mountaintop, in a church or whether you have a big or a small budget or if you have a big or a small wedding… that doesn’t matter. What matters is the story behind dresses, flowers, place cards and invitations. For us, everything is always about the love. And always, always about the people.
In a world where news are filled with bad and sad things, we need more love. In the middle of tears, we need laughter to be able to move on.
