Maybe it’s because this was my first wedding as full-time photographer. Maybe it’s because of the rainy weather that brought a certain feeling to this wedding day. Maybe it’s because Sanna’s nieces were so darn cute. For some reason this wedding is more than dear to me.
Since their A Day In Your Life session we knew that it would be awesome to be a part of their special day. And yes. It was.
Jouni was with the guys in the morning and I spent time with Sanna and her family. Sanna’s niece showed me a collection of her finest toys and I got to photograph them too. Every wedding is different and special in its own way although the formula is similar. There’s something about the preparations. The nervousness, the anticipation.
Sanna & Mika are fun to be around with and it’s always nice when we get to play around with the portraits. They were not afraid to spend a moment in rain before the ceremony while we were taking portraits of them.
They left the church in an awesome red Cadillac.
Their venue was filled with beautiful flowers and many, many, many beautiful details and decorations created by Sanna herself.
And when we left in the middle of the night, we left with bags full of candy.
This is a story of a girl from Vantaa and a boy from Helsinki and their happily ever after ♥
