For over 15 years, wedding photography has been more than just a career I chose. It’s been my passion, my purpose and my life’s work. A Simple, Seamless Way to Relive Your Day

Your photos will be delivered in a beautifully organized, easy-to-use online gallery, making it easy to download, share, and relive every moment with loved ones. If you don’t want to share every image, you can curate a separate guest gallery with no extra cost. You’ll also receive a highlight slideshow set to music, bringing the emotions of your day to life. You can print your photos anywhere you want, but if you want something truly special, I offer high-quality fine art prints and albums to turn your memories into lasting heirlooms.

Planning meeting & mini session

Planning meeting before the wedding

As your plans come together, we’ll have a face-to-face planning meeting to go over all the details of your wedding day and fine-tune anything that needs adjusting. We will usually meet at an outdoor location and get to enjoy the serenity of nature, so that you will get a little getaway from the last moments of wedding planning.

Mini session

You’ll have the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera while I get to know your unique dynamic as a couple after we have finished talking about the logistics of the wedding day. This way, you’ll know exactly how it feels like to be photographed by me and when your wedding day arrives, you don’t have to be nervous about it. Before the session, I’ll send you a Style Guide to help you feel prepared and look your absolute best.

Whether you want to hike to a mountaintop, stroll through a forest, or simply enjoy a peaceful sunset together, we’ll make it happen. But don’t worry; you will always get a few portraits taken on your wedding day too. You just don’t have to dedicate so much time for them on the wedding day.

Think of it as a fun excuse to wear your wedding attire one more time! All my couples say they loved having another special day to look forward to after the wedding.

That’s part of the adventure! Some of our most stunning photos came from couples who weren’t afraid to let their dress touch the earth or get caught in the sea spray. These images tell a story of love that’s wild and free.

Most couples choose to do it within a week of their wedding while the excitement is still fresh. However, some prefer to wait a few weeks or even months—it’s completely up to you!

Right from the first meeting, Johanna and we hit it off. We had already decided at that time to choose a package which allowed us to take our wedding pictures after the wedding. We had our wedding in August 2023 at the German Church & Villa Andania in Kallahdenniemi in Helsinki – Johanna’s work was professionally efficient and relaxed throughout, and the photos are stunning. We also liked especially that Johanna managed to capture not only the atmosphere and people but also a lot of situations, details and things that we ourselves completely missed in all the hassle – it’s great that through the pictures you can dive into your own wedding party afterwards, as if again and again from different perspectives. We had put a lot of effort into the food, the decorations and the bar, but it was only Johanna’s photos that gave us an idea of what everything really looked like.
The mini session a couple of months before the wedding was also a really good thing – it was nice to get to know Johanna then already, so she felt familiar & safe and at the wedding we didn’t have to worry about this anymore…
There was a lot of good feedback from the guests about Johanna and her work – some of them said they regretted that they hadn’t hired a professional photographer for their wedding themselves, but had relied on some relatives. Personally, I particularly appreciate the fact that as a professional photographer Johanna can be pleasantly in the background, but always in the right place and much closer than an amateur (amateurs always get in the way and think they are the main character in the party…).
Also, all the “administrative” stuff went really smoothly and quickly – pricing was clear and fair, and delivery & uploading of photos etc worked well.

Most couples choose 8–12 hours to cover everything from getting ready to the dance floor. With the option to do portraits after the wedding, you can be flexible with your timeline. During our planning conversations, we’ll look at your unique vision and help determine the perfect coverage to make sure nothing important is missed.

Absolutely! I’d love to show you full galleries so you can see how I capture entire wedding days—from the quiet moments to the big celebrations.

While I’m not a full wedding planner, I’m definitely here to support your planning journey! Think of me as your knowledgeable friend in the industry who’s here to help you make informed decisions while you bring your vision to life.

Yes! All wedding packages include a mini session, and you can also upgrade to a full engagement shoot if you want more time and variety. You can get more information about the couples portrait sessions here.

Yes to both! I come prepared with plenty of backup gear, and you can add a second shooter to any package for more coverage and angles.
