“When choosing a wedding photographer…”
That is always the phrase you hear. There are tons of articles about it. Last year we realized that it also goes the other way around. Last year we spent a lot of time thinking about who we are, what we do and what we want to do. Part of it was that we really, really want to photograph the weddings of couples who feel… safe with us. Who can trust us. Who can be themselves with us. Our workshop with Nordica Photography really helped to find tools to find those couples.
Our strength is that there’s two of us. We are a team. This is not just business to us. We are not just some wedding photographers. We want to be the right wedding photographers for our couples. Just like you have found the right person to spend the rest of your life with, we want to be the right match to document your wedding.
And not just your wedding, but your life. There’s more to your story than your wedding day.
That’s why we re-built our engagement sessions. They’re called “A Day In Your Life”.
Oili & René agreed to be our guinea pigs as we traveled to Germany to document their day. They are getting married in Finland this Summer and are living in Germany.
The whole trip was amazing. It was our first time on a plane (can you believe it!) and our first real trip outside Finland. We will be posting more personal photos from the trip in the future. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll be wedding photographers in Germany too :)

I’m actually thinking about the same approach to e-sessions but it’s not for every client though. I do think it’s a great idea and I’m sure your guinea pigs are totally in love with those pictures. They are awesome!
Yeah, we were there back in September – hopefully we’ll be back soon, we totally fell in love with Germany! Next time we’ll be there longer, a weekend definitely wasn’t enough :)
And you’re right, this is definitely not for everybody, but for those who want it, it’s available! :) We are keeping the “traditional” engagement sessions too for those who may not want this, but this is the one that reflects us. :)
