We came to spend quiet time at the cottage this past weekend. I decided to stay a few days longer. Jouni had to go back home yesterday because of his work, but I stayed with the cat. It was a good decision. I’m sitting on the porch, enjoying afternoon sun and the high +22C weather. Doesn’t seem like the summer is about to wind down. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Naksu is sleeping next to me. The soft snoring is so much cuter outside.
If I could choose, I’d live in the middle of nowhere. It took me years to realize that I’m just not a city person. I need the peace and quiet. Right now we’re lucky to live in a place that doesn’t always seem like a city. But still, it is the city. You’re never alone. There’s always the loud humming sound of cars passing by on the highway.
But here. Oh, how my heart cries of joy. I can hear my thoughts. My heartbeat.
Moments like these make me so happy. This freedom is something everyone should experience.
Today it is time to take you on a trip with Sanna & Mika. We went back to the place where they met. Where they got engaged. When two people are meant to be together, life arranges the circumstances so that two souls can find each other.
