From wedding in a steamy greenhouse to this wedding in chilly Lapland. ❤ For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a Lapland Wedding Photographer and especially photograph a wedding in Ylläs where I spent so many childhood winter holidays. Never would I have thought that one day I’d get to be there with my cameras and not just take photos of the amazing landscapes but to actually witness an elopement with just close family members witnessing the happy occasion. It was truly a dream come true when I had the privilege to travel all the way to northern Finland and work my magic.
Ceremony in ice chapel at SnowVillage, reindeer sleigh ride, millions of stars lightning up the sky and candles lightning up the cozy cottage, warming all of us. It’s so hard to put in words how amazing everything was. Now, every time I drink hot chocolate, I think about Mel and Mark and their amazing hospitality. They truly are one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and it was so much fun adventuring with them in the chilly temperatures and allll the snow around us.
