Life has truly blessed me in the “meeting awesome people and seeing magical places” department.
Last July I found myself sitting on a plane all by myself, on my way to Munich, Germany.
I did pinch myself a couple times.
I believe it’s important for photography teams to work separately. It takes you out of your comfort zone and makes you stronger. While I was in Germany, Jouni photographed two weddings back in Finland (one of those weddings will be up on the blog later this week).
At the airport I met Saana who was kind enough to come and take me back to their place. While she was cooking lunch for us, I took a nap after the early morning flight. You know you’re in the right place when going to someone’s home doesn’t feel awkward even though you’ve never met those said persons.
I still have a lot of personal photos from this trip to go through, but now it’s time to take you back to that sunny and hot Saturday we took a train to Tegernsee with Saana & Thomas and I found myself on top of a mountain, Wallberg. I still have marks on my back after I got sunburned (did I already mention it was HOT and SUNNY?). But more importantly, the longing to go back got stuck with me and it’s burning so badly.
The mountains, the beautiful lake Tegernsee, Italian gelato, lots and lots of water, the beautiful city of Munich… oh my heart. ♥♥
Thank you, Saana & Thomas, for giving me this awesome chance and for being so super awesome! ♥
