This month has been hectic – we’re moving in a week! Once we got rid of all the people doing a bathroom renovation to this apartment, our life’s been pretty much about living among stack of boxes.
While they were still doing the renovation, we packed our stuff and escaped and spent a weekend at the cottage.
This year my mission in photography has been to think outside the box. I’ve realized that the obvious pictures are usually not the ones I like. So I’ve been trying to stay in the moment, capture things I want to remember in the years to come and let the photos come to me, rather than trying to chase something I won’t find. Life’s all about moments, people, details. I want my photography to reflect life.
So, here are a few shots from our getaway weekend. Moments, people and little things I want to remember.
