Hotel Kämp Wedding // Tuomiokirkko

This international wedding took place at Hotel Kämp in Helsinki.

Jessica is half Swedish, half Finnish and has lived in Switzerland and UK all of her life. Lars is Danish. They both love traveling and during their travels in Australia, these two lovebirds met. Since Jessica has spent her Summers and Christmases in Finland, it was clear to them that they wanted to have their wedding in Finland even though they lived in Switzerland.

It was clear to us from the beginning that these two are very much in love. There’s something about the way they look each other. Their eyes light up. You can’t help but smile when you’re around them. Jessica is a very bubbly person and it was a joy to get to know them in the process. We spent one awesome Summer evening getting to know them and photographing their engagement photos and couldn’t wait for their wedding.

Their Winter wedding was full of warmness despite the cold weather outside and guests from all around the world gathered to celebrate the love of Jessica and Lars. It was nice to witness different wedding traditions, like when guests lined up to kiss Jessica when Lars left the room and the other way around. Lars got his socks cut off, which is a cool Danish wedding tradition.
